This Privacy Policy explains how CS1 Connect (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the marketplace at safety1connect.com.

Information we collect

Account & profile: name, email, role, company or professional profile details, photo, location, and the credentials and services you list. Verification documents: files you upload to verify credentials (stored privately and shared only with our review team). Bookings & messages: requests, applications, bookings, and the messages you exchange on the platform. Payments: handled by Stripe — we receive transaction metadata (amounts, status) but do not store full card or bank details. Usage: device and analytics data about how you use the site.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace — match Companies and Professionals, enable messaging, process payments and payouts, verify credentials, provide support, prevent fraud and off-platform circumvention, send transactional emails, and improve the service.

How we share it

With the other party to a booking, as needed to perform the engagement (for example, a Company's identity is shared with the Professional they select). With service providers that run the platform: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting and privacy- friendly analytics). With authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Public information

Professional profiles (name, headline, location, verified badges, reviews) are public so Companies can find them. Company identity is kept private on the open request board — only the job's city and state are shown until a Professional is selected.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Verification documents are stored in a private bucket. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may access and update your profile at any time, and request deletion of your account by emailing us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
